* Flickr – filter search results by license; paste image URL into Imagecodr for attribution & embed code
~ Creative Commons search – require attribution, other restrictions may apply
~ Google image search – filter search results (Tools > Usage Rights > Labeled for reuse, etc.)
~ Library of Congress – search in Photos, Prints, Drawings; great for historic images
~ The Getty – fine art and other images; automatically filters for free images
~ Wikimedia Commons – public domain and Creative Commons images (source for Wikipedia images)
